Markets

There is something really intriguing about locals markets. It shows you what the people eat, drink and clothe in. The best part is that everything is very cheap, so if you are travelling, make sure to go to a local market.

The first set of photos is from a local food and clothes market in Florence. It only opened in the morning and you can see a lot of locals doing their grocery shopping here. The people were really friendly and did not hesitate when I was clicking their pictures.

Second set of photos are from Bangkok. It is a heaven for markets. And these are no ordinary market. I clicked two markets, Chatuchak Weekend Market and Damnoen Saduak Floating Market.

Chatuchak Market is one of the largest market in the world, covering almost 32 acres of land and around 10,000 shops. Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is a market where most of the vendors are either located on the sides of the canal or on the boats.
